Sukomal Gill Got the Responsibility of President of the LPS Students
Gurugram : Lions Public School organized Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2018-2019 to inculcate the leadership qualities and a sense of responsibility in the students. The ceremony was held with lots of enthusiasm and gusto. The students are nominated on the basis of discipline, academics and behavior so that they can be role models to their fellow schoolmates. They were elected by the students of classes 9 to 12 in a democratic way by casting their votes to their favorite leaders.
Head Boy Ayush Kumar, Head Girl Sakshi Yadav along with President Sukomal Gill, House Captains and Vice house Captains were honored with badges by the Manager Mr. Rajiv Kumar, Sr. Principal Dr. Neelima Prakash, Principal Ms. Renu Verma , Vice Principal Ms. Indu Kaushik, Coordinator Ms. Kiran Bala and Deputy Coordinator Ms Anita Wadhwa.
The Student Council took the pledge to hold the school motto of ‘Learn to serve’ and maintain discipline, harmony and integrity amongst the students. The Student President shared her thoughts on achieving this esteemed responsibility and assured everyone to be true to their posts and duties assigned to them.
Manager Mr. Rajiv Kumar congratulated all the members of the student council and blessed them all so that they can perform their responsibilities judiciously.He made stress that a student can develop leadership quality during discharging their responsibilities. He said that one type of disciplined nature is injected in them by the teachers and mentors. Indeed it is a great learning period of public dealing as well as subjective as they deal with different types of students of distinguished classes. It is an administrative training also.
Sr. Principal Dr. Neelima Prakash told the students that the Council provides an opportunity to engage in a structured partnership with teachers, parents and school managers in the working of the school. She also congratulated the newly formed student council and blessed them.
It was a memorable day for all the students of LPS. The students and teachers enjoyed this moment very well.
The ceremony was concluded with the National Anthem.
