Gurugram, 03 April : The Cyclothon Yatra, which is going to start from Hisar with the resolve to make Haryana drug free, will enter Gurugram district on 11 April. Chief Minister Mr. Nayab Singh Saini will flag off the Cyclothon from Hisar on 5 April. Preparations have begun to make the arrival of the Cyclothon Rally in Gurugram district grand. DC Ajay Kumar held a meeting of officials in the conference hall at the Mini Secretariat regarding the preparations for the Cyclothon Rally and directed to maximize the participation of the youth of the district in this event.
DC Ajay Kumar said that the Cyclothon Rally in Gurugram district will enter Sohna area from village Lakhuwas on 11 April via Faridabad district. This rally will enter Gurugram city via Sohna area via Dhunola. The next day on 12 April, it will enter Jhajjar district via Dhankot and Chandu.
Earlier, after departing from Rewari district on April 9, this yatra will enter Nuh district via Sidhrawali and Dinokri villages of Pataudi block. He said that a large number of cyclists from the district will also join this rally. Cyclists should be motivated to join this rally through the Sports Department, City Cycle Club, Police and Rahgiri Sanstha. He said that a cultural program will also be organized on the evening of April 11. The objective of this program will be to motivate the youth to make the Drug Free Haryana campaign a success.
He said that to ensure maximum public participation in the Haryana Uday campaign, the district residents should also register as much as possible on the Haryana Uday online portal https://uday,haryan a.gov.in/AntiDrug Cyclothon. He also gave necessary guidelines to the concerned departments regarding arrangements like refreshment, medical team, traffic police etc. on the route of the cyclothon. On this occasion, Cyclothon nodal officer and ADC Hitesh Kumar Meena, Gurugram SDM Paramjit Chahal, Pataudi SDM Dinesh Luhacha, ACP Headquarters Satyapal, ACP Traffic Surendra Kaur, Sports Deputy Director Giriraj Singh, DPRO Bijendra, Haryana CSR Trust Additional CEO Gaurav Singh, AEO Jagdish Ahlawat and other departmental officers were present.
