New Delhi, April 3 : Haryana Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini today interacted with the public in Samadhan Camps organized at district and sub-division level through video conferencing in Chandigarh. During the interaction, he got direct information about the level of satisfaction of the people. The Chief Minister also directed the Deputy Commissioners and Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs) to personally attend the camp every day and resolve the grievances of the people on the spot, so that quick and effective resolution of complaints can be ensured. Haryana Chief Secretary Shri Anurag Rastogi was also present on the occasion.
The Chief Minister also sought information from the Deputy Commissioners and SDMs about the number of complaints received, complaints resolved and pending complaints. The Chief Minister was apprised that out of 18,925 complaints received in Samadhan camps in all the districts from October to March 2025, 10,955 complaints have been resolved, 6,639 are pending and 1,331 have been rejected. Similarly, out of 8,635 complaints received in Samadhan camps organized in urban local bodies across the state, 5,761 have been resolved, 1,813 are pending and 1,061 have been rejected.
Samadhan camps being organized to resolve public grievances related to various departments at one place
Shri Nayab Singh Saini said that to ensure resolution of public grievances related to various departments at one place, the State Government has started Samadhan camps at district and sub-division headquarters level. These camps are organized every working day from 10 am to 12 noon. Officers of various departments are present in these camps, so that the complaints related to their respective departments can be resolved quickly. He also directed that the Department of Information, Public Relations and Languages should do extensive publicity regarding the Samadhan camps, so that more and more people can take advantage of this initiative of the state government.
Chief Minister took cognizance of pending complaints in the districts
The Chief Minister took strong cognizance of the pending complaints in some districts and directed the Deputy Commissioners to personally review these complaints once a week in collaboration with the officials of the concerned departments, so that the number of pending cases is zero. He emphasized that complaints related to policy decisions should be sent to the Chief Secretary’s Office, where decisions can be taken at the government level for their resolution. The aim of the state government is to make the lives of the people easier, so that they do not have to run around government offices to get their work done.
If complainants have to visit Samadhan camps repeatedly for the same issue, then officers will be held accountable
The Chief Minister also emphasized that apart from the district level, Samadhan camps should be organized regularly at sub-divisional headquarters as well. He said that apart from SDM, officers of the concerned departments should also be present in these camps, so that public grievances related to their departments can be resolved immediately. He said that if the complainant has to visit Samadhan camps repeatedly for the same issue, then the officers will be held accountable for it.

The Chief Minister interacted with the people in Samadhan camps organized at district and sub-divisional headquarters and took feedback from the people present. During the interaction, a woman who came to the Samadhan camp in Rohtak complained about a private school demanding fees for the admission of the child under Section 134-A. On this, the Chief Minister directed the Deputy Commissioner to give a sympathetic hearing to the complainant and ensure a thorough investigation of the matter. He also directed the Deputy Commissioner to ensure that no school in the district is involved in such activities.
Interacting with a migrant labourer who had come to the Samadhan Shivir in Panipat with a complaint regarding his ration card, the Chief Minister highlighted the “One Nation-One Ration Card” scheme. He said that this scheme enables migrant labourers and their families to avail the benefits of Public Distribution System (PDS) from any Fair Price Shop (FPS) across the country.
In another case, a person who had come to the Samadhan Shivir in Bilaspur, Yamunanagar, told the Chief Minister that despite several attempts, he was unable to upload the details of his crop loss on the e-compensation portal. On this, Mr. Nayab Singh Saini directed the SDM Bilaspur to take up the issue with the Finance Commissioner, Revenue and ensure that it is resolved at the earliest. The Chief Minister also sought feedback from the SDM Dabwali regarding the status of the complaints and directed him to immediately resolve all the issues related to sewerage, electricity, irrigation, public health engineering and Kisan Credit Card.
