Sandhu said Jaitley’s wit, wisdom and unwavering commitment to nation-building, along with his remarkable ability to build and sustain lasting friendships, continue to inspire generations.

Jaitley, who served in several key positions in the Union Government, including Finance Minister and Defence Minister, was widely recognised for his role in shaping major economic and governance reforms during his political career.
