New Delhi : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has launched a sharp attack on the Congress and the INDIA bloc over the ongoing political row surrounding students’ issues and the NEET examination, alleging that the Opposition is deliberately avoiding a discussion in Parliament despite repeatedly raising the matter outside the House.
Speaking on the issue, BJP National President Nitin Nabin said the NDA government is fully prepared to hold a comprehensive discussion on every issue concerning students, youth, and NEET on the floor of Parliament. He asserted that the government is ready to answer every question raised by the Opposition.
Issuing what he described as an open challenge to the Congress, Nitin Nabin invited Rahul Gandhi and the entire Opposition to participate in a debate in Parliament on issues related to students, youth, and the examination system. He alleged that the Opposition is reluctant to engage in such a discussion because it fears that its “double standards” would be exposed before the country.
The BJP President further claimed that Rahul Gandhi and the Congress have a history of provoking and misleading the youth for political gains, rather than working towards constructive solutions. He accused the Opposition of attempting to create unrest instead of participating in democratic debate inside Parliament.
Highlighting the NDA government’s record, Nitin Nabin said the Modi government has taken decisive steps to secure the future of young Indians. He stated that today’s youth are driving India’s growth by building startups, creating unicorns, embracing innovation, and contributing to the vision of an Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
Taking another swipe at the Opposition, he alleged that while the Congress views the youth through the lens of protests and unrest, the NDA government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi is committed to empowering young people through education, skill development, entrepreneurship, and transparent governance.
The BJP President’s remarks come amid the ongoing political confrontation over examination-related issues during the Monsoon Session of Parliament, where the government and the Opposition continue to trade accusations over accountability and the future of India’s students.
