The newly established facility at Kharkhoda, Haryana, is spread across 800 acres and is supported by an advanced supplier park. It is set to become one of the largest automobile manufacturing plants globally, with a planned annual production capacity of 1 million vehicles at full scale.
Built on Suzuki’s Smart Factory concept, the facility integrates advanced technology with a strong focus on sustainability and innovation.
Key features of the plant include:
- Deployment of AI-powered human-aware collaborative robots (cobots)
- Use of 100% renewable electricity

The Kharkhoda facility stands as a strong symbol of the India–Japan industrial partnership and reflects the shared vision of #MakeinIndia, #MakeForTheWorld, and India’s broader development goal of #ViksitBharat.
