New Delhi : The United States military has outlined three major operational priorities in the event of a conflict with Iran, according to Gen. Dan Caine, Chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff.

Speaking about the military strategy, Caine said the first objective would be to eliminate Iran’s ballistic missile capabilities, which are considered a key component of the country’s offensive military strength.

The second goal would involve weakening or destroying Iran’s naval forces, particularly those capable of threatening international shipping routes and regional maritime security.

The third objective focuses on carrying out deep strikes on military installations inside Iran, targeting bases and strategic infrastructure that support the country’s defense operations.

US officials say these objectives are aimed at significantly reducing Iran’s ability to conduct military operations and ensuring greater security for American forces and allies in the region.
