New Delhi : The results of the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 have been announced. According to this, the NDA is going to form the government with a majority. There are a total of 243 seats in the Bihar Assembly and to form the government, any party or alliance needs to have 122 seats, whereas the NDA is leading on 202 seats. The Grand Alliance seems to be limited to 32 seats. According to the data released by the Election Commission, till now the BJP has won 82 seats while it is ahead on 7 seats. Similarly, JDU has won 75 seats and is ahead on 10 seats, RJD has won 23 more seats and is ahead on 2 seats. Lok Janshakti Party Ram Bilas has won 17 more seats and is ahead on 2 seats. In addition, the Congress Party has won six seats, the AIMIM five, the HAM Party five, the Rashtriya Lok Morcha three, the CPIML two, the CPI one, and the BSP one.
Prashant Kishore’s Jan Suraj Party has also failed to open its account.
Counting is underway in Bihar. Results have been announced for several seats. Currently, the NDA has surpassed 200 with a significant lead. Meanwhile, the Grand Alliance appears to be limited to 35 seats. Prominent figures like Tejashwi Yadav, Samrat Chaudhary, and Anant Singh have won. Following the election results, political activity has intensified in Bihar.

The NDA includes the BJP contesting 101 seats, the JDU 101, Chirag Paswan’s LJP (Ram Vilas) 29, Upendra Kushwaha’s RLM six, and Jitan Ram Manjhi’s HAM contesting six seats.
The Grand Alliance (Grand Alliance) officially contested 143 seats, the RJD 61, the Congress 30, and the VIP 9. Furthermore, the Grand Alliance had a friendly fight in some seats, including Chainpur, Kargahar, Narkatiaganj, Sikandra, Kahalgaon, and Sultanganj.
