New Delhi : Celebrations continue in Bihar, marking the NDA’s historic victory. Following the results on Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed party workers at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) headquarters. In his address, PM Modi described a new “MY” formula. He connected it to the youth and women of Bihar and thanked them for the electoral results.
PM Modi said, that the era of the Red Corridor and the dark days of terrorism are now part of history. Today, Bihar is relentlessly advancing on the path of development, and this progress is unstoppable. These results stand as a powerful response to those critics who once opposed the idea of development in Bihar. To those who shamelessly claimed that Bihar didn’t need expressways or highways. To those who argued that Bihar didn’t require industries.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the nation is now voting for genuine social justice—a vision where every family is granted opportunity, respect, and equality. A society where there is no room for appeasement. The era of appeasement (tushtikaran) has been replaced by a focus on universal satisfaction (santushtikaran). The people of India now only want development.
He said that that this is not just a victory for the NDA. It is a triumph for democracy itself. It has bolstered public confidence in the Election Commission. Over the past few years, increased voter turnout, particularly among marginalized groups, has been a significant achievement for the Election Commission. This is the same Bihar that was once plagued by Maoist insurgency, where voting in Naxal-affected areas often concluded as early as 3 PM. However, in this election, people turned out to vote with remarkable enthusiasm.
He said that “Friends, there’s an old saying that iron sharpens iron. Some parties in Bihar had created the appeasement-oriented “MY” formula, but today’s victory has given rise to a new, positive “MY” formula: women and youth.” He further said, “Today, Bihar is among the states with the largest youth population, representing youth from every religion and caste. Their desires, aspirations, and dreams have destroyed the old “MY” formula of “jungle raj.”
PM Modi said, “Today I especially congratulate the youth of Bihar. I salute the sisters and daughters of Bihar. Samrat Chaudhary, Vijay Kumar Sinha have worked tirelessly, Jitan Ram Manjhi, Kushwaha ji, Chirag have shown excellent leadership, and NDA workers have demonstrated remarkable coordination at the booth level…
Today’s victory marks the beginning of a new journey. The trust Bihar has placed in us has placed even greater responsibility on our shoulders.
I want to assure you…
What Prime Minister Narendra Modi Said ?
Bihar will progress at a faster pace in the coming five years.
New industries will be set up in Bihar.
Work will be done to ensure that Bihar’s youth find employment within Bihar.
Investment will come to Bihar, and this investment will bring more jobs.
Tourism will expand in Bihar, and people will see Bihar’s new potential.
Our pilgrimage sites, places of faith, and historical heritage will be rejuvenated in Bihar.
Congress has no positive vision for the country.” The truth is that today Congress has become the “Muslim-League Maoist Congress,” or MMC.
Congress’s entire agenda revolves around this, and therefore, a new faction is emerging within the Congress party, uncomfortable with this negative politics.
After the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, assembly elections were held in six states across the country, and in these six elections, Congress has not been able to cross the 100-seat mark even once.
On this day, the number of MLAs elected in just one election is higher than the Congress had won in the previous six elections.
Following the Lok Sabha elections, we won assembly elections in several states across the country with a resounding majority.
Haryana, the land that promoted the spirit of “Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan,” gave us the opportunity to serve for the third consecutive time.
We won a landslide victory in Maharashtra, the holy land of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Baba Saheb Ambedkar, and Veer Savarkar. We won Maharashtra for the third consecutive time.
After 25 years, we won with a majority in the nation’s capital, and today we have won with such a large majority in Bihar.
The people of Bihar have played a significant role in India’s development, but those who ruled the country for decades have defamed Bihar.
These people neither respected Bihar’s glorious past nor its traditions and culture.
Imagine how much respect those who can call Chhath Puja a drama must have for Bihar’s traditions.
Look at their arrogance! RJD and Congress have not apologized to Chhathi Maiya till date. And the people of Bihar will never forget this.
