-Emphasis on mediation process to save time and money
Gurugram : District Legal Services Authority, Gurugram Secretary Rajat Verma informed that as per the instructions of Haryana State Legal Services Authority, Panchkula and under the aegis of National Legal Services Authority, New Delhi and Mediation and Conciliation Project Committee of Supreme Court, National Mediation Campaign is being run across the country.
It is worth mentioning that this campaign started on 1 July 2025 and will be conducted till 30 September 2025. Its main objective is to settle as many cases pending in the courts in an amicable manner through mediation.
Under the campaign, special attention is being paid to making people aware about the benefits of mediation as well as speedy resolution of pending cases.
In this sequence, a meeting of mediation advocates and panel paralegal volunteers was organized in the conference hall of Gurugram District Court today. In the meeting, everyone was instructed to resolve as many cases as possible through mediation and spread information about the campaign to the general public.
