Complete ban on Flying Drones and Fireworks in Gurugram till July 7

From the point of view of security, there will be a complete ban on flying unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) and fireworks on various events till July 7 : District Magistrate

– District Magistrate gave orders, record of every visitor/tenant will have to be maintained at various places, police verification is mandatory if staying for more than a week

Gurugram : Keeping in mind the current emergency situation, District Magistrate Ajay Kumar has issued orders to ban the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) like drones and low flying objects etc. in the district till July 7. He has issued this order under security reasons with the aim of maintaining law and order in the district as well as to stop undesirable activities.

In the orders issued by the District Magistrate, it has been said that in the present circumstances, the noise of fireworks and crackers done by the public on various events creates fear of real bomb, drone and missile attack and the law and order situation may be affected. In view of which, the use of drones, micro light aircraft, gliders/power gliders, hot air balloons, kite flying and Chinese micro lights by the general public and bursting of any kind of fireworks and crackers etc. during marriages, religious festivals, ceremonies and any kind of activities in the jurisdiction of District Gurugram has been banned till July 7.

In another order, District Magistrate Ajay Kumar, keeping in view the security reasons in the present situation, has issued instructions to cyber cafes, PGs, guest houses, hotels, landlords, offices under Section 163 of the Indian Civil Security Code, 2023 to keep a record of every visitor/tenant recorded in the register and also keep a photocopy of their identity card as a record and if the stay is for more than a week, then police verification is mandatory in District Gurugram.

If any person is found guilty of violating the above orders, he will be liable for punishment under Section 223 of the Indian Civil Defence Code, 2023 .
