Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan Administers Oath to Newly Elected Rajya Sabha Members at Parliament House

New Delhi : The Vice President of India and Chairman of the Rajya Sabha, C. P. Radhakrishnan, administered the oath of office to newly elected and re-elected Members of the Rajya Sabha at the Parliament House today.

The oath-taking ceremony marked the formal induction of the following newly elected members into the Upper House of Parliament:

  1.  Mansoor Ali KhanIndian National Congress (INC), Karnataka
  2. Rajneesh Kumar AgrawalBharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Madhya Pradesh

The Chairman of the Rajya Sabha extended his greetings and best wishes to the newly inducted members, who will now participate in parliamentary proceedings and contribute to legislative discussions in the Upper House.

The Rajya Sabha, as the Council of States, plays a crucial role in India’s parliamentary democracy by representing the interests of states and contributing to the law-making process of the nation.
