New Delhi : The Election Commission of India (ECI) has invited citizens across the country to download the ECINet App and share their suggestions for improvement through the “Submit a Suggestion” feature. Public feedback will be accepted from 27 November to 27 December 2025.

The trial version of the ECINet App was successfully used during the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 and recent bye-elections, offering faster and more transparent voter services. The platform enabled quicker access to polling percentage trends and facilitated the publication of Index Cards within 72 hours of poll closure—a process that previously took weeks or even months.

Feedback from CEOs, DEOs, EROs, Observers, and field officials, along with insights gained during the Bihar elections, is being incorporated to further improve the app. All citizen suggestions received during the feedback window will be examined to enhance the app’s usability and features. The official launch of ECINet is scheduled for January 2026.

Developed under the leadership of Chief Election Commissioner Shri Gyanesh Kumar and Election Commissioners Dr. Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Dr. Vivek Joshi, ECINet is a major step toward using technology to improve voter convenience and strengthen transparency in the election process. Work on the app began following its announcement on May 4, 2025.

The ECINet App serves as a single unified platform, integrating nearly 40 earlier standalone election-related apps and websites, including the Voter Helpline App (VHA), cVIGIL, Saksham, Polling Trends, and the Know Your Candidate (KYC) App. It is available for download on both Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
