– One lakh 32 thousand 209 candidates appeared for the exam at 145 examination centers in Gurugram district on Saturday and Sunday amid tight arrangements

– DC Ajay Kumar inspected the examination centers, congratulated the district administration, police, transport and the entire team for the peaceful completion of the examination

Gurugram :The CET exam conducted by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission for Group C posts in four sessions on Saturday and Sunday at 145 examination centers in Gurugram district was completed peacefully. In the district, 33,040 candidates appeared in the first session on Saturday, 32,963 in the second session and 33,108 in the first session and 33,098 in the second session on Sunday morning. The district administration had made good arrangements for the examination, which were appreciated by the candidates and their parents who came to take the exam from different districts.

Candidates and parents praised the arrangements made by the district administration. DC Ajay Kumar himself visited the examination centres on Sunday and monitored the arrangements throughout the day. He congratulated the entire team of police, transport, GMCBl and district administration for the peaceful completion of the examination in the district. The teams of administration, police and civil defence etc. in Gurugram district did a commendable job in taking the candidates to the examination centres in the last two days. Candidates and their parents who came to take the examination in Gurugram seemed happy with the arrangements made by the administration in the district. Whereas, 135 buses each were provided in two sessions on both the days to take the candidates of Gurugram to Faridabad district. DCP Headquarters Arpit Jain, DCP Traffic Dr. Rajesh Mohan, ADC Vatsal Vashisht, ALC Kushal Kataria, GM Roadways Bharat Bhushan Gogia, Joint CEO of GMCBl Ravindra Kumar, SDM of Manesar Darshan Yadav, SDM of Pataudi Dinesh Kumar, SDM of Sohna Akhilesh Kumar, ACP Traffic Jai Singh, DEO Indu Bokan, MVO Harendra Veer and other officers played a remarkable role.

Administrative officers and police riders became troubleshooters

In Gurugram, shuttle facility was provided from five places for the CET exam, but many candidates reached another center by mistake or their vehicle broke down, then the district administration and police officers and riders were seen in the role of troubleshooters. SDM Sanjeev Singla of Badshahpur took the candidates from Ashish village of Sonipat district and Khidwali village of Rohtak district to the examination centers in a government vehicle. At the same time, the police station in-charge and riders played an important role in taking the candidates to their designated examination centers throughout the day. More than 1500 students were also helped within two days from the control room of the district administration.
