LPS Produces Little Sientists: Junior Wins 2nd Where as Senior Bags1st Prize

BUDDING SCIENTISTS OF LIONS PUBLIC SCHOOL

Inter School Robotics Competition was organized by Gaur’s International School in Gaur City Noida

 
Gurugram : To perform well and achieve their goal has become become the nature of the students of Lions Public School Sector 10 A ,Gurugram. Lionites have again proved it and made every one proud by winning another Inter School Competition held in Noida. Inter School Robotics Competition was organized by Gaur’s International School in Gaur City, Sec-16 , Noida in collaboration with ‘Next Education’ who are the pioneers in Smart Classes and Technology based learning programme. 
 
In this very special program the participating students in a team of 3 members were assigned to make Robots using Robotic Kit. There were 14 schools of Delhi NCR cities who participated in this competition. Each school sent 2 teams and 28 teams were present.
 
According to the Mentor of the Lions Public School the Junior team had to make a Manual Robot and Senior Team were given to prepare Autonomous 
Robot.
 
Dr Nilima Prakas Senior Principal of LPS said that both junior and senior teams made the school proud as Lionites Junior Team won 2nd Prize where as Senior Team bagged 1st Prize. 
 
The team members were Yashraj of Class VI, Sahil of Class VI and Manas of Class VI for Junior and Ayush of Class VII , Gavneesh of Class VIII and Harsh of Class IX for Senior. Finally ,the teams were given Cash Prize of Rs 3000/- & Rs 5000/- respectively. They were also given Certificates and Trophies. She said that we are sure that these children are to become future Scientists of India.
 
On this achievement Rajiv kumar , Manager of Lions Public School Sector 10 A , Gurugram expressed his happiness and congratulated all little champion scientist’s of his school. He claimed that our school has been doing very well for many years in every region.Our teachers and students  always try to do some thing better than past and prepare themselves  for a competitive world. The management of the school also congratulated all.
