MOTIHARI: While taking strong exception in murderous attack on a teenage murder witness two days before she was suppose to depose before Motihari Juvenil court, district magistrate of east champaran Anupam Kumar has written a letter to DGP Bihar and SP Motihari to take necessary action against culprits.
On the other hand,feminist’s group couple with half a dozen social activists on Saturday issued a 48 hours ultimatum to district administration, which is allegedly exonerated two named accused in Sidharth Raj murder case and delayed arresting of accused persons causing murderous attacks on alone eye witness of case on Thursday.
Mamta Rani Verma, founder member of ‘Agni panth’, a feminists groups and former member of Juvenil justice board and Ranjit Giri,founder of yuva Sangthan said that if administration failed to correct its supervision reports and arrest the culprits it would organize broom and shoes procession on national women’s days.
She said the name of Rajan Sahani one of the named accused in Sidharth Raj murder case , who is accused to have dashed against his motorcycle to bicycle of Sweta Kumari 19, sister of Sidharth and alone eye witness in this murder case, while she was on way to Mahatma Gandhi central university to write her examination has been exonerated by deputy inspector general(DIG) of Champaran Rang while the name of One Sonu Kumar was exonerated by DSP Motihari Pankaj Rawat.
Kumari, who is pursuing her English honours in MGCU however sustained minor injuries but refused to depose before court on Saturday out of severe trauma and pain on shoulder.
Amidst media and social activist , she clearly blamed members of Juvenile justice board in Motihari of misinterpreting the statement of her one of the brother to help culprits. His brother Prince Raj, who is pursuing physics honours in JNU had named all accused persons in his statement before the courts but members could not mentioned all in deposition forms.
The main accused in the case Prince Pandey is at his house on medical ground while he is fit enough to threats every alternate days to families members to withdraw the case. This is the same man, who used a Bolero to crush her, she said adding that Ravi Pandey the first class magistrate also incharge of juvenile justice board in Motihari has humiliated her and her father many times during deposition showing her intension to save Prince Pandey.
SP Jitendra Rana said that raids are on to arrest the culprits involved in the matters and family’s members will be provided full securities. Ravi Pandey, incharge magistrate of JJB could not be available to contacts. He was contacted on his office to comment on the charges leveled on board. Victim accusing board members has been caught in video recording.
Vinod Thakur, father of victim teenager said Vishal Dubey, another accused in this case has threatened him on Saturday when he has gone in Motihari remand home to pursue his case. Dubey has been brought from Muzaffarpur remand home in Motihari on the date of deposition of witnesse.
