Working for the Improvement of Environment Around Them
GURUGRAM : Environment degradation is the cause of major concern. Lionites are seriously involved in this issue. They are tirelessly working for the improvement of environment around them. Small steps are being taken in a big way. The children of Lions Public School along with Manager Mr Rajiv Kumar, Sr. Principal Dr Neelima Prakash, Principal Ms Renu Verma , Vice Principal Ms Indu Kaushik and Ms Jaswinder kaur planted many plants in the school.
Encouraging the students , Chairman Lion A. C. Goel and Lion D. V. Taneja Project Chairman ‘Save Mother Earth’ applauded the children for their efforts in this direction & told them to remain motivated for such social issues.
Manager Mr. Rajiv Kumar said to the children that it was a very noble idea to think of planting saplings in the school.
The children selected the saplings of plants like Spider Plant & Rubber Plant, which give more oxygen than other plants. This shows their love for school & concern for degrading air quality in the environment. Sr. Principal Dr Neelima Prakash said that she is looking forward to such activities in the future as well .
Principal Ms Renu Verma along with Vice Principal Ms Indu Kaushik also planted saplings and lauded the students for their initiative.
