Gurugram: In view of the heavy rainfall witnessed across Gurugram on August 24, the District Administration has issued a work-from-home advisory for Monday, August 25, 2026.
The Deputy Commissioner, Gurugram, said there is a possibility of waterlogging and traffic congestion at several locations across the district following the heavy downpour.
Accordingly, all corporate offices, as well as government and private schools and educational institutions, have been advised to allow their employees and staff to work from home on August 25.
The advisory has been issued to help reduce traffic congestion and enable civic agencies to carry out repair and maintenance work on roads and drainage systems smoothly.
Citizens have also been urged to cooperate with the administration and plan their travel accordingly.
