One of the major decisions taken at the meeting was the approval of the ₹3,025.49-crore budget for the financial year 2026–27 for the Uttar Pradesh State Agricultural Produce Market Council. The budget is intended to support the development of agricultural markets, improve marketing infrastructure, and enhance services for farmers across the state.

The Board also approved several important proposals relating to farmer welfare, agricultural marketing, and the efficient management of mandis (agricultural produce markets), reflecting the state’s continued focus on strengthening the agricultural sector and improving market access for cultivators.
