New Delhi : The deputy leader in the Lok Sabha of the Congress party Gaurav Gogoi asked the government several questions during the discussion on Operation Sindoor just after the speech of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh . Congress MP Gogoi said that why the government does not tell how the Pahalgam terror attack happened and how the terrorists entered in J& K from Pakistan. Gogoi said that the government is saying the same things again that it used to say in 2016. Such things were said even after the Pulwama attack.
Gaurav Gogoi asked that Rajnath Singh said that our aim was not war, but why ? He asked that when will we take Pakistan occupied Kashmir. Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi said in Lok Sabha during the discussion on ‘Operation Sindoor’, “The truth should come out in the House. Whether it is about the ‘Pahalgam terror attack’ or ‘Operation Sindoor’ or ‘foreign policy’, all the truths should come out. Rajnath Singh gave a lot of information today, but as the Defense Minister, he did not say how the terrorists came to Baisaran in Pahalgam? How did terrorists from Pakistan reach Pahalgam and kill 26 people? The Defense Minister may not tell, but being in the opposition, we will ask questions in the national interest.”
Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi also questioned the government about the Pahalgam terror attack. He said, “The country wants to know. Why could the government not catch the terrorists of Pahalgam even after 100 days? Who gave shelter to the terrorists of Pahalgam, who gave information? Who helped the terrorists of Pahalgam to escape? 100 days have passed, but the government has no answer to these questions. The government has drones, Pegasus, CRPF, BSF, CISF, the Home Minister had gone there a few days ago, but still you could not catch anyone. What kind of arrangement was this?”
He also said that the most painful attack was in Uri attack. After Uri and Pulwama, the most horrific attack has happened in Pahalgam. How did Pakistan dare to attack again and again.
Gaurav Gogoi said that 100 days have passed since the Pahalgam attack, but this government has not been able to bring the terrorists to justice. He also said that the central government cannot hide behind the Lieutenant Governor regarding the Pahalgam attack.
