Gurugram : Municipal Corporation Gurugram on Monday once again sealed the building of International Delhi Public School (IDPS) located in Basai Enclave. This action was taken by the team of Junior Engineers Varun and Hariom under the leadership of Municipal Corporation Assistant Engineer RK Mongia in the presence of police force.
Sealing action had been taken earlier also
It is worth noting that earlier on June 18 also the said school building was sealed, but the building owners broke the seal in defiance of the rules. After this, the Municipal Corporation lodged an FIR against the building owners in the police station and started the process of sealing again.
Municipal Corporation officials said that the said building was constructed without approval from the Municipal Corporation. Despite repeated notices, the building owners did not respond. Apart from this, the necessary permissions for the construction of the building were also not obtained, due to which the Municipal Corporation has taken this action of sealing.
The corporation had repeatedly warned the building owners to follow the rules, but they ignored it. Now the team has taken sealing action with the help of the police, and strict action will be taken against such irregularities in future. This step is necessary to ensure civil safety and effective compliance of municipal rules. If such violations are repeated in future, strict action will be taken.
Along with this, the Municipal Corporation has instructed all the concerned officials to strictly monitor the construction work in the city so that such incidents can be avoided in future. The corporation has appealed to the public to inform the municipal officials about any illegal construction work so that prompt action can be taken on such cases.
