 State Should Enhance Fund for ' Satyagraha Centenary' : Radha Mohan 2MOTIHARI : Union minister for agriculture Radha Mohan Singh on Friday demanded state government to enhance funds it allocated for the development of site related to Gandhi circuit in Champaran on the occasion of ‘Satyagarah Centenary’.

While addressing a gathering on the occasion of 50 th anniversary of IFFCO being celebrated here , Singh said that state government has allocated Rs 54 crore out of which 32 to 36 crores will be spent in West Champaran and only 8 crore has been earmarked to spent in east champaran , from where Gandhi launched his worldly acclaimed ‘Champaran Satyagrah’. 

The funds is less than it requires for the purpose as only in east champaran Gandhi has visited 15 villages in 2017. Singh said an integrated farming center is going to be opened in Pipra Kothi in east Champaran at the cost of Rs 30 crore out of which Rs 10 crore has already been sanctioned for the pupose. He said that State like UP, Bihar and West Bengal is misusing the funds of Center, he said adding that Center is directly working on bamboo mission and bees farming projects at Pipra Kothi.

He announced that each and every villages of state will have a pucca roads by March 19 and electrification by March 18 of 2018. Managing director of IFFCO US Awasthi said that IFFCO is working in the field of fertilizer, insurance,medicines and communication in all around the country. He said that IFFCO is working for digital india and have prepared a co-operative digital platform. Now farmers will get a identities to sell their products in open market through digital medium.

Dr Ajay Singh, state marketing manager of IFFCO, Raza Thakur, MLA Pramod Kumar , Sachindra Kumar ,MLC Babloo Gupta, Rupesha Yadav Vinod Singh also attended the function.  Singh in his exhausting speech ,which witnessed thousands of farmers all walk of life.
