Gurugram : Haryana Renewable Energy Development Agency (HAREDA), which is the State Designated Agency (SDA) for implementing energy conservation provisions in the state of Haryana, organized a one-day retailer training program and workshop for other stakeholders on energy conservation. Under the guidance of ADC Hitesh Kumar Meena, this program was organized at Hotel Country Inn, Sector 12.
More than 50 retailers and other stakeholders participated in the said workshop organized under the chairmanship of Pramod Vaishnav, Project Officer of HAREDA. The participants were made aware about the importance of energy conservation and its role in increasing sustainability in public infrastructure by reducing the overall energy cost.
In the training program, the trainers provided information about the use of 5-star rated appliances such as energy efficient LED lighting, BLDC fans, air conditioners, refrigerators and other electrical appliances. Also, the participants were motivated to adopt energy conservation in their lives and also make people around them aware of it.
Trainers Jyoti Prasad Bhattacharya, Mohit Tripathi, Anuj Gupta were present in the training program.
