Development Works Approved in WCPSHI Gurugram, DC Ajay Kumar Reviewed

Gurugram : Welfare Center for Persons with Speech and Hearing Impairment (WCPSHI), which works for people unable to hear and speak, is now going to become more empowered. Many important decisions related to the development of the institute were taken in the review meeting held on Friday under the chairmanship of District Deputy Commissioner and Chairperson Mr. Ajay Kumar. ADC Hitesh Kumar Meena was also present in the meeting.

It was decided in the meeting that the construction of a new hostel, repair of staff quarters and the first floor of the academic block will be started soon in the institute. These decisions will provide better facilities and education environment to the disabled students living here.

Deputy Commissioner Ajay Kumar said that WCPSHI is not only empowering the disabled, but is also motivating the society towards adopting an inclusive approach. The district administration will continue to provide all possible support in this noble cause.

It is clear from these decisions that the administration is now serious and committed towards the education, lifestyle and self-reliance of the disabled. This is not just an institution, but the centre of hopes of hundreds of people – and now it is going to become even stronger.
