During this, he thoroughly inspected the lifestyle, health services, food, cleanliness and other essential facilities of the elderly women living in the ashram.

Shri Batra not only reviewed the arrangements, but also brought fruits for the elderly women with him, which was a symbol of his respect and care. During the inspection, Shri Batra directly interacted with the elderly women and listened to their problems and directed the concerned officials to improve. He said, “It is important that the experienced and senior women of our society live with respect and security at this stage of their life. The atmosphere there became even more lively when an elderly woman lovingly presented a song, and another woman performed a dance decorated with expressions. This scene was not only full of emotions but also reflected the liveliness of the ashram and the positive energy of the women.

During the inspection, Shri Lalit Batra also enquired from the women living in the old age home whether they were getting the benefits of the government’s social security schemes. He especially tried to know whether the women were getting old age pension regularly or not, and if not, what problems were being faced in it.
