Gurugram :  Kalagram organized an unforgettable event in a musical evening dedicated to the rich tradition of Indian classical music. A large number of literature, culture and art lovers from Gurugram and surrounding areas marked their presence in this event held at the open amphitheater in Sector 29 (near Kingdom of Dreams).

The soulful accompaniment of music and Chai Chaupal on this open stage adorned with natural beauty increased the enthusiasm of the audience manifold. This evening was not just a musical performance, but a cultural union that connected art lovers with deep emotions.

At the beginning of the program, Director of Kalagram Shikha Gupta shared the organization’s journey of five years so far and said that today about 50 dedicated volunteers are active in the service of art with Kalagram, and this number is constantly increasing. Shikha Gupta said that the district administration is trying to make Gurugram known as the ‘city of art lovers’. In such a situation, whoever wants to join this cultural effort, should come forward without hesitation. She said that Kalagram is constantly trying to preserve the diversity of Indian art and culture, to reach it to the masses and to give a platform to new talents.

The soul of the ragas, the power of expression and years of sadhana were clearly visible in the presentation of famous classical singer Sudhanshu Bahuguna, who was the main attraction of the program. When Bahuguna, trained by great gurus like Pt. Vinay Chandra Maudgalya and Pt. L.K., molded the ragas into tunes, the entire atmosphere was filled with musical consciousness. During this time, the choir group trained by him, whose collective performances were a wonderful example of innovation and concentration in classical music. The unity of notes and harmony of expressions filled the audience with a rare and soulful experience.

Famous musicians Jyotsna Rai, Preeti Mishra, Reva and Manuj, Seema Seth and other dignitaries were present in the program.
