Cyclothon 2.0 : More than 23 Thousand Participants from Gurugram District Registered in Drug Free Haryana Campaign

Gurugram, April 08 : Preparations are going on continuously for the arrival of Cyclothon 2.0 in Gurugram with the campaign to make Haryana drug free. To make Cyclothon 2.0 a success, 23158 participants from the district have registered on Haryana Uday Portal. To join this campaign, any district resident can go to Haryana Uday Portal and get themselves registered. Haryana Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini had flagged off Cyclothon 2.0 from Hisar on April 5. After awakening the youth of the state about de-addiction, this yatra will reach Gurugram on 11th April. However, on 9th April also, while going from Rewari to Palwal, this yatra will pass through the village Sidhrawali of the district.

Cultural programs will be held on the theme of Drug Free Haryana on 11th

DC Ajay Kumar informed that Cyclothon 2.0 from Faridabad will enter the district from Lakhuwas village of Sohna subdivision in Gurugram district on 11th April. On the first day, the yatra will reach Dhunela via Sohna. A cultural evening will also be organized on the theme of Drug Free Haryana on the evening of 11th April for the purpose of the yatra. In this event, short plays depicting the evils of drugs, songs on Drug Free Haryana and other cultural programs will be organized.

Cyclothon 2.0 will enter Jhajjar district from Gurugram

District Nodal Officer and ADC Hitesh Kumar Meena of Cyclothon 2.0 informed that this cycle yatra will leave for Jhajjar from Dhunela on 12th April. The route of this yatra will be from Dhunela to Vatika Chowk, SPR, Dwarka Expressway, Basai Chowk, Dhankot, Chandu, Budhera and reach Badsa in Jhajjar district. RWA representatives, school students and other volunteers will welcome it at various places on the route of the yatra. He said that the yatra has received a good response from the people of Gurugram. 23,158 participants from Gurugram have registered on the Haryana Uday portal. According to the registration data across the state, Gurugram is among the first four districts.
