Gurugram,  April 01 : Haryana’s Industry and Commerce, Environment, Forest and Wildlife Minister Rao Narbir Singh said that the first budget presented by Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini is the most important budget of his 38 years of political life. Which will be written in golden letters in the history of Haryana. He said that when Haryana was formed in the year 1966, the budget of the state was 650 crores. Which is now touching a new record of 2 lakh 5 thousand crores in the Deputy Government. Rao said that when former Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal presented his first budget in the year 2014, a provision of Rs 1 lakh 18 thousand crore was made in the budget.

In which there has been an unexpected increase of Rs 87 thousand crore in the last 10 years for the concern of the public. The Cabinet Minister was addressing a press conference at the PWD Rest House in Gurugram on Tuesday. Gurugram BJP District President Sarvpriya Tyagi was also present on this occasion.

Rao Narbir Singh said that the Chief Minister has tried to give concessions to every section of the society through his first budget. He said that the Bharatiya Janata Party had made 214 announcements for the next five years in its Sankalp Patra. Out of which some announcements have already been completed before the budget and 90 announcements will be completed this year with the targets set. The Cabinet Minister said that this budget is a budget to pave the way for the creation of a better and prosperous Haryana while ensuring the upliftment of all sections.

Haryana is the first state in the country to launch Lado Laxmi Yojana for women

Rao said that the Chief Minister has made a provision of Rs 5 thousand crore for Lado Laxmi Yojana in the current budget. He said that Haryana is the first state in the country. In which the mothers and sisters of Haryana living below the poverty line will be given financial help of Rs 2100 every month. Rao clarified that various political parties make such announcements come true in the last years of their 5-year term, but this is a government elected with the trust of the public in which public welfare announcements are being given concrete shape from the first year itself.

A grand martyr memorial will be built on 42 kanal land in Naseebpur

Rao Narbir Singh said that there is no doubt about building a martyr memorial in Naseebpur. Here the martyr memorial will be developed on 42 kanal i.e. 5.25 acres of land. He said that this is a matter related to the sentiments of the people of South Haryana. In the revolution of 1857, the people of Ahirwal fought against the British under the leadership of Rao Tularam. In which a large number of people were martyred. He said that respect for the martyrs is a part of the ideology of the Bharatiya Janata Party. The contribution of the martyrs cannot be forgotten in any way. The cabinet minister said that the Chief Minister has also given his approval to this. He clarified that this work will not be done by the military and paramilitary welfare department but by the information, public relations, language and culture department. There was a confusion about this in the past days. But now its DPR is being prepared by PWD-B&R. Lack of funds will not be allowed to become an obstacle in the construction of Shaheed Smarak.

Waterlogging problem in Narsinghpur will be solved soon

Rao said that the government is trying to get rid of waterlogging in Gurugram. Under these efforts, a permanent solution to the problem of waterlogging in Narsinghpur will also be found soon. The cabinet minister said that drainage work is going on on the Dwarka Expressway. As soon as this work is completed, water drainage in Narsinghpur will be connected with drainage.

To meet the water needs of Gurugram, an amount of Rs. 2 thousand crores has been approved in the budget for covered pipeline.

Rao Narbir Singh said that the government is also moving forward with full seriousness regarding the future water needs of Gurugram. He said that Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini has specially allotted an amount of Rs. 2 thousand crores in the budget for the covered pipeline from Kakroi of Sonipat to Gurugram. He said that along with getting rid of the problem of water leakage from the entire project, the quality of water will also be maintained due to being covered.

The foundation of the golden future of Gurugram will be laid with a strong road network.

The cabinet minister said that in the coming five years, the foundation of the golden future of Gurugram will be laid with better connectivity and strong road network. He said that as part of the efforts being made for infrastructure development, an elevated road from Gurugram Jaipur National Highway to Vatika Chowk and four flyovers from Vatika Chowk to Ghata will be constructed at a cost of Rs 850 crore. The Cabinet Minister said that with this important work being implemented by Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority, passengers coming from the airport will be able to reach Ghata within 30 minutes.
