Gurugram, March 21 : Haryana State Women Commission in collaboration with Amity University Haryana (AUH) successfully organized a Nukkad Natak Competition on the theme “Women Rights, Equality and Empowerment” at Amity University Haryana today on 21st March 2025. The event aimed at raising awareness towards gender equality was attended by eminent dignitaries, faculty and more than 250 students.
The event was graced by the Chief Guest Renu Bhatia who while addressing the gathering highlighted the importance of women rights and empowering women in today’s society. Mrs. Bhatia emphasized the need for continuous efforts to advance gender equality through education, awareness and policy reforms. The competition saw active participation from 6 universities showcasing the vibrant energy and creativity of the youth in expressing their views on gender equality and empowerment.
The first prize in the Nukkad Competition was bagged by Indira Gandhi University, Meerapur Rewari, second prize by Amity University Gurugram and third prize by Northcap University, Gurugram.
Present at the event were AUH Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. PB Sharma, Prof. Dr. Vikas Madhukar, Pro. Vice Chancellor, Major General JS Dhull (Retd.) Dean Student Welfare, and Prof. Dr. Sanjana Vij, Yogita Dhir, Dr. Anuj Dua Gemini, and Shri AD Bhatt.
