NISE organized a series of activities on the occasion of institute’s 4th Foundation Day

Sakshi Sonawan bagged First Prize in Spot painting and Second Prize in Quiz

Mehak achieved second Prize in Poster making competition

GCentral Power Minister, R K Singh, Honors LPS Students for its Achievements at NISE 2urugram :  Lions Public school won many prizes in various competitions held at National Institute of Solar energy Gawal Paharhi Gurgaon. The NISE organized a series of activities on the occasion of institute’s 4th Foundation Day on 27 October including declamation by the students about “Pros & Cons of Green Energy (Solar Energy)”, eExhibition of solar Products, systems and devices, display of paintings on solar energy, display of models on Solar Energy and quiz competition on Solar energy. LPS Gurugram students participated and proved, they are the best in extra curricular activities too. National Institute of Solar Energy an autonomous institution of Ministry of New & Renewable Energy , Govt of India celebrated its 4th Foundation Day on 27 October at its NISE Campus, Gwal Pahari, Gurugram. The general people and school students were invited to visit this campus and participate in various competitions. The program was designed to involve general people so that they can be aware about the Solar Energy and its applications .

Central Power Minister, R K Singh, Honors LPS Students for its Achievements at NISE 4On this occasion Sakshi Sonawane a student of Lions Public School Sector 10 A Gurugram bagged First Prize in the Spot painting competition and Second Prize in Quiz. Not only this but the school’s students also shown their best performance in Model Making and got the First Prize of today’s Competition among many students. Surprisingly this institution drawn a series of Awards in favour of them as it’s team grabbed again Second prize in Quiz on renewable energy as well as another student Mehak achieved second Prize in Poster making competition.

All students and participants visited all NISE projects, like Water ATM, Solar Cold Storage, Hydrogen Facility, Solar, Gasifier Based cold storage, Milk Chilling plant, 500 KW Solar PV Plant and 1 MW Solar Thermal Plant installed in the institute’s large campus . The chief guest , R K Singh, Minister of Power, Independent Charge, Govt of India awarded all achiever students. On this special celebration Dr. Arun K. Tripathi, Director General NISE, Er. Sanjay Kumar ,DDG, Admin NISE , MCG Councilor Mahesh Dayama and other distinguish guests were also present .

Lion AC Goel, Chairman , LPS congratulated all students and expressed his happiness for this great achievements. On this special moment SR Principal Dr Neelima Prakash said that the school is proud of our students who are regularly doing best in all activities with their academic career too.SR Principal appreciated all the teachers specially Neeraj Kapoor and Aarti Mandal.

Rajiv Kumar, Manager, Lions Public School greeted all students and encouraged for their future . He opined that this is not the end but the beginning that shows we are on the right path and our school’s performance is grooming day by day, with honest and collective effort of all teaching and non teaching staffs of the school. Indeed It is encouraging for all of us .
