Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday inaugurated a series of newly developed and renovated facilities at the Vidhan Bhavan in Lucknow, aimed at modernising the state’s legislative infrastructure and enhancing administrative efficiency.
The Chief Minister inaugurated the beautification of the Legislative Council Hall, the renovated ground-floor corridor of the Vidhan Bhavan, the newly established podcast studio of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, and the digital library of the Legislative Council.
The newly inaugurated facilities are expected to improve the functioning of the state legislature by integrating modern technology with existing institutional infrastructure. The podcast studio has been developed to strengthen digital communication and public outreach, while the digital library is designed to provide legislators and officials with easier access to legislative records, research material and reference resources.
The renovation and beautification works undertaken at the Vidhan Bhavan are part of the Uttar Pradesh Government’s broader efforts to modernise legislative institutions, improve infrastructure and promote greater use of digital technologies in governance. The initiatives are expected to enhance the efficiency, accessibility and overall functioning of the state’s legislative system.
