Three CISF Officers Excel in NSG’s Basic Bomb Detection and Disposal Course

New Delhi: Three officers of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) have successfully completed the prestigious Basic Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) Course conducted at the National Security Guard (NSG) training facility in Manesar, further strengthening the Force’s specialised capabilities in counter-explosive operations.

Among the participants, Assistant Commandant Amudhan M secured the Overall Second Position, while all three CISF officers earned the highest grading in the course, demonstrating exceptional professional competence, technical expertise and operational proficiency.

The specialised training equips personnel with advanced skills in bomb detection, explosive disposal and response to explosive threats, enhancing the CISF’s preparedness to deal with complex security challenges and emergency situations.

The achievement underscores the CISF’s continued emphasis on developing specialised operational capabilities and maintaining high professional standards to protect the country’s critical infrastructure and key installations. It also reflects the Force’s commitment to strengthening national security through advanced training and capacity building.
