Chandigarh: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini met Dr. Vishwajeet Rana, Group CEO of GEDU Global Education, to discuss strengthening the state’s education ecosystem through international collaborations and expanding access to world-class learning opportunities for students.
During the meeting, they deliberated on enhancing educational standards in Haryana by fostering global partnerships and introducing internationally recognised academic programmes.
The Chief Minister welcomed GEDU Global Education’s decision to establish Queen Elizabeth’s School, Gurugram, as its first school campus in India. He described the initiative as a significant milestone in providing students with globally benchmarked education.
The upcoming school will offer the Cambridge International Curriculum, enabling students to benefit from internationally recognised academic standards and preparing them to compete in a global knowledge economy.
Nayab Singh Saini said the project represents an important step towards creating a modern and future-ready education system while contributing to the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
“The establishment of Queen Elizabeth’s School in Gurugram with the Cambridge International Curriculum will provide world-class learning opportunities for our students and strengthen Haryana’s education ecosystem through global collaboration,” the Chief Minister said.
He reiterated that the Haryana Government remains committed to ensuring that every child in the state has access to quality education and modern learning infrastructure.
The Chief Minister also emphasised that meaningful partnerships with leading global education institutions will help build a globally competitive knowledge ecosystem, promote innovation in education, and equip students with the skills required to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world.
The meeting reflects the Haryana Government’s continued focus on improving educational outcomes through international cooperation, academic excellence and the adoption of globally recognised best practices in school education.
