New Delhi/ Chișinău : President of India Droupadi Murmu has arrived in Chișinău, the capital of the Republic of Moldova, on a historic State Visit, marking a significant milestone in bilateral relations between the two nations.
President Murmu was warmly received by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Moldova, H.E. Mihai Popșoi, upon her arrival.
The visit holds special significance as it is the first-ever Presidential visit from India to the Republic of Moldova. It reflects India’s growing engagement with Moldova and highlights New Delhi’s commitment to further strengthening the bilateral partnership.
During the visit, discussions are expected to focus on expanding cooperation in key areas, enhancing diplomatic relations, and exploring new opportunities for collaboration between the two countries.
