New Delhi/Montreal: Indian High Commissioner to Canada Dinesh K. Patnaik visited Bombardier’s Dorval facility in Quebec, where he held discussions with President and Chief Executive Officer Eric Martel and the company’s senior leadership on expanding cooperation between India and the Canadian aerospace manufacturer.
The meeting focused on Bombardier’s growing engagement with India and explored opportunities to deepen collaboration in the aerospace and defence sectors. Discussions also covered plans to expand the company’s footprint and fleet presence in the Indian market, while examining prospects for cooperation in Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) services and strengthening after-sales support.
During the visit, the High Commissioner toured the Laurent Beaudoin Completion Centre, where he was briefed on Bombardier’s Global series aircraft and the company’s advanced capabilities in aircraft completion and business aviation.
The visit underscored the shared interest of India and Bombardier in enhancing partnerships in aerospace, defence and aviation services, reflecting the growing scope for collaboration in high-technology sectors between the two countries.
