-Dwarka Positioned as Future Investment Hub of Delhi ; LG Engages with Industry Leaders on Growth Opportunities
New Delhi : Sardar Taranjit Singh Sandhu Lieutenant Governor of Delhi participated in an interactive session on investment opportunities in Dwarka Sub-city at the DDA’s Qutab Golf Course, organised by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) with members of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
During the session, discussions focused on unlocking the vast economic and developmental potential of Dwarka, one of Asia’s largest planned sub-cities, and transforming it into a leading destination for investment and urban growth.
Highlighting Dwarka’s strategic advantages, the Lieutenant Governor noted that its proximity to the Indira Gandhi International Airport, integrated transport connectivity, and rapidly developing urban ecosystem provide immense opportunities across diverse sectors including commerce, hospitality, healthcare, education, technology, and advanced urban infrastructure.
The interaction witnessed constructive discussions with industry leaders on creating collaborative partnerships, encouraging private investment, and adopting future-ready planning strategies to maximise Dwarka’s potential as a modern urban centre.
Reaffirming the commitment towards strengthening Delhi’s economic growth, the Lieutenant Governor emphasized the importance of building a transparent, efficient, and investor-friendly ecosystem in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Ease of Doing Business.
The initiative aims to promote sustainable development, generate employment opportunities, attract investments, and contribute towards the vision of #ViksitDilli and #ViksitBharat2047.
