India Strengthens Economic Outreach in China; Ambassador Vikram Doraiswami Engages with Chinese Business Leaders in Beijing

New Delhi : The Embassy of India in Beijing has highlighted India’s continued efforts to expand economic and commercial cooperation with China through greater engagement with the Chinese business community.

According to an official statement released by the Embassy of India in Beijing, Indian Ambassador to China Vikram Doraiswami hosted a luncheon interaction with select Chinese business leaders and friends of India on 7 July 2026.

During the meeting, Ambassador Doraiswami held discussions with company chairpersons and senior representatives from various Chinese enterprises. The interaction focused on strengthening economic ties, exploring new opportunities for collaboration, and enhancing business-to-business engagement between India and China.

The Indian Ambassador conveyed that the Embassy of India remains committed to facilitating increased economic and commercial cooperation with India. He assured support in promoting stronger connections between businesses of both countries and encouraging greater participation in bilateral trade and investment opportunities.

The meeting reflects India’s continued diplomatic and economic outreach aimed at creating a more conducive environment for business cooperation and expanding people-to-people and commercial linkages between the two nations.
