New Delhi : On the directions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has intensified its diplomatic outreach to Gulf countries, reinforcing its strategic engagement in the region. As part of this initiative, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar visited the United Arab Emirates from April 11 to 12, 2026.
During the visit, the Union Minister called on the President of the UAE, Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and conveyed warm greetings from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He also expressed appreciation to the UAE leadership for ensuring the well-being of the Indian community residing in the country.
The discussions focused on further strengthening the India-UAE Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, with both sides reaffirming their commitment to deepen cooperation across key sectors. The External Affairs Minister also thanked the UAE President for his guidance in advancing bilateral ties.
