-Heavy US-Israel Airstrikes Hit Iran, Military Targets Targeted Amid Civilian Impact Concerns
New Delhi : Media Reports claim that the United States carried out an airstrike using B-2 Spirit bombers targeting a facility linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Tehran.
The operation was reportedly conducted under the direction of Brad Cooper, head of U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM). Multiple B-2 bombers are said to have flown from Whiteman Air Force Base on a long 36-hour mission and dropped bunker-buster bombs on the underground site.
According to these reports, the target was believed to be a location where senior IRGC commanders were present. U.S. officials have claimed that the facility was destroyed, and there are fears that several commanders may have been killed.
Recent reports indicate that the United States and Israel have carried out intense airstrikes across Iran, targeting military sites linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
While some claims suggest large-scale operations involving many aircraft, confirmed reports show multiple coordinated strikes on military infrastructure, including airports, missile sites, and strategic facilities.
U.S. and Israeli officials say the strikes are focused on military targets, but there are also reports of casualties and damage in urban areas, with some incidents affecting civilian locations.
The situation remains highly tense, with ongoing military actions and counterattacks raising concerns about further escalation in the region.
However, these claims have not been independently verified.
