New Delhi : Haryana Governor Prof. Asim Kumar Ghosh and Chief Minister Mr. Nayab Singh Saini jointly unveiled a souvenir for the Sirsa Lok Sabha Constituency Members of Parliament Sports Festival on Thursday.
The festival took place from September 21 to 25, 2025. Rajya Sabha MP Mr. Subhash Barala stated that the event is being organized regularly in line with Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi’s vision to promote sports and provide a strong platform for emerging athletes.
Mr. Barala highlighted that, under the Prime Minister’s leadership, sports in India have evolved beyond the pursuit of medals and achievements to become a vital part of the national agenda for youth development and nation-building. He added that initiatives such as Khelo India, the Fit India Movement, and the National Sports Policy demonstrate how sports have become central to both leadership and society.
