Dr. Suman Rana interacted with children and inquired about their education, health, and facilities
The Commission is continuously striving for the all-round development and secure future of children
Gurugram : Dr. Suman Rana, Member of the Haryana State Commission for Protection of Child Rights, along with the Child Welfare Committee and the District Child Protection Officer, inspected the Jagannath Ashram (Girls’ Home) and the Uddyan Ghar Boys’ Home on Tuesday.
During the inspection, Dr. Suman Rana interacted with the children and inquired about their education, health, food, living conditions, and recreational facilities. She stated that children are the future of our country, and the Commission is making every effort to ensure their all-round development and a bright future.
She directed the institution’s management to provide the children with an environment where they can grow with confidence, discipline, and a positive attitude. She said that education empowers children, and therefore, quality education and training must be ensured for them.
Dr. Suman Rana also stated that the Commission is regularly inspecting such institutions to ensure that children’s rights are protected and welfare schemes are properly implemented.
Present on this occasion were Child Welfare Committee Chairperson Dr. Usha Kohli, members Bharti Sankla and Rajni Devi, Girls’ Home Superintendent Smita Bishnoi, Counselor Meena Sharma, Probation Officer Geeta Batra, and the entire staff.
