Municipal Corporation Commissioner Pradeep Dahiya Visits Various Areas, Interacts with Citizens about Civic Problems

Gurugram : Municipal Corporation Gurugram Commissioner Pradeep Dahiya visited several areas of the city on Tuesday as part of his regular inspection program. During this, he took stock of the condition of sanitation, water drainage, sewerage and roads and directly interacted with citizens and listened to their problems. Additional Municipal Commissioner Ravindra Yadav, Chief Engineer Vijay Dhaka, Executive Engineer Pradeep Kumar, Assistant Engineer Manoj Ahlawat, Senior Sanitation Inspector Sandeep Kumar and other officers and employees of Engineering and Sanitation Branch were present with the Commissioner.

The tour started from Civil Lines and went to Malibu Town via Rajiv Chowk, Subhash Chowk. Here the Commissioner met local residents and inspected the drainage and sewerage system in the area. After this, the team of officers reached Sector-46 via South City-2, Sector-50, Mayfield Garden. During the inspection in Sector-46, Mr. Dahiya instructed to start the work of repairing the roads at a fast pace as soon as the rainy season ends. He said that there should be no compromise on the quality of the work and it should be completed in a timely manner.

The Municipal Commissioner also inspected the market and park of Sector-46 on foot. He discussed in detail with the residents about the cleanliness system, road construction and other civic problems. Seeing the excellent maintenance of the park, he praised the RWA and local residents. Also, discussed the effective management of horticultural waste generated in the park. During the tour, Mr. Dahiya inspected the nursery established by the corporation in Sector-46, where horticultural waste is being shredded through machines and disposed of better.

On this occasion, the Municipal Commissioner said that the main objective of the Municipal Corporation is to provide a clean, healthy and convenient environment to the citizens. He said that prompt resolution of citizens’ complaints would be ensured and area-wise inspection campaign would continue.
