Gurugram : Amidst heavy rains in the city in excess of normal amounts, the district administration is constantly monitoring the current situation in the city. In this context, on the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Ajay Kumar, SDM Sanjeev Singla of Badshahpur inspected SPR Road on Tuesday. He interacted with the administrative officers and police personnel present on the spot and issued necessary guidelines to keep the traffic system in order.
During the inspection, the SDM clarified that the administration is constantly monitoring the situation arising due to rain. He said that wherever there was a possibility of jam or chaos on SPR Road, the traffic police showed promptness and immediately controlled it. Now the traffic is running normally on this route and people have got relief.
The SDM instructed the officials that the teams present on the spot should perform their duty diligently so that the situation of waterlogging or traffic jam does not arise again at any place. He also said that the district administration is keeping a close watch on the current situation and prompt action will be ensured in case of any emergency. The SDM said that it is a joint effort of the district administration and the police to ensure that the citizens face minimum inconvenience despite heavy rains.
