– Health Minister Kumari Aarti Singh Rao will inaugurate it, youth will get a strong message
Gurugram : Haryana State AIDS Control Society (HSACS) will launch an HIV/AIDS awareness IEC campaign in Gurugram on August 12 in collaboration with National AIDS Control Organization. Kumari Aarti Singh Rao, Health, AYUSH, Medical Education Minister in Haryana Government will launch this program at Government Girls College, Sector-14.
Civil Surgeon Dr. Alka Singh said that Gurugram MLA Mukesh Sharma, ACS of Health Department and Chairman of HSACS Sudhir Rajpal, DGHS (Head of Department) Dr. Manish Bansal, DGHS (P) Dr. Kuldeep Singh, Project Director HSACS Dr. Sukhveer Singh will be specially present in this program which will provide accurate information related to HIV/AIDS, preventive measures, treatment facilities, and removal of misconceptions through digital means.
The civil surgeon said that a large number of students, college staff, health workers and representatives of voluntary organizations will participate on this occasion. He said that the IEC campaign will be an important step towards making the youth aware, in which social media, videos, digital posters and interactive techniques will be used.
