Gurugram : Administrative preparations have reached their peak for the National Urban Local Body Conference to be held at the International Center for Automotive Technology (ICAT) in Manesar on July 3 and 4 in Gurugram. Extensive arrangements are being ensured at the venue with the coordinated efforts of various units including the district administration, Municipal Corporation and Police Department for the successful conduct of the program and to provide the best experience to the visiting guests.
DC Ajay Kumar has given clear instructions to all the heads of departments of the district administration that no officer will leave the district headquarters during the event period. He said that this arrangement is necessary to ensure quick decision and action in any situation. He also directed that all departments complete the preparations with mutual coordination and a sense of shared responsibility.

Decoration work is going on at a fast pace at the venue and surrounding routes. Welcome gates and direction indicators related to the National Conference are being installed at major intersections, entrances and within the venue. The process of making the dividers on all major routes attractive with different colours is in its final stage. Separate routes have been marked for entry and exit to the venue so that there is no obstruction in traffic.
– Strong security and traffic arrangements
The police department has prepared a plan to deploy additional security forces at the venue and surrounding areas. Alternative arrangements for route diversion and parking are being ensured to keep the traffic smooth. Fire brigade, medical teams of the health department and ambulances will also be stationed at the venue.
DC Ajay Kumar said that the district administration has ensured that this event is conducted with full dignity, order and Haryanvi hospitality. All departments have been expected to give top priority to the preparations of the program and complete all the arrangements within the stipulated time limit.
On this occasion, Haryana Assembly Speaker’s Advisor Ram Narayan Yadav, ADC and Nodal Officer Vatsal Vashisht, officials of Lok Sabha, Assembly and District Administration were present at the venue.
