-CDS and NDA Exam held at 27 Centers
Gurugram : The written examinations of CDS Exam-I, 2025 and NDA & NA (I), 2025 conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) were completed peacefully in Gurugram today. These examinations were conducted at a total of 27 examination centers, where thousands of candidates participated.
The CDS exam was conducted in three phases from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, the first phase from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, the second phase from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm
and the third phase from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. NDA & NA (I) exam was conducted in two phases, the first phase was from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm and the second phase was from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm. Security and discipline were strictly followed at all the centers during the examination.
Out of a total of 2530 enrolled candidates in the CDS exam, 1500 (59.29%) appeared in the first paper (English) and 1482 (58.58%) appeared in the second paper (General Knowledge). Paper-III (Mathematics) This was only for those candidates who had applied for NDA, in which a total of 582 students participated out of 1014 enrolled candidates.
NDA & NA (I) exam was conducted in two phases at 20 sub-examination centers. Out of a total of 7018 registered candidates, 5329 appeared for Mathematics and 5282 for General Ability. The attendance rate was 75.94% and 75.37% respectively.
“The officers appointed as Duty Magistrate-cum-Paper Distribution Officer received the sealed sensitive material from Mini Secretariat, Gurugram at 6:00 am and successfully handed over the same to the centre supervisors/site in-charge at the designated centres.”
All the Duty Magistrates reached the centres on time and not only ensured the distribution of question papers and other material but also ensured safe deposit of answer sheets after the completion of the examination. The entire process was carried out under the Indian Civil Security Code, 2023.
The administration said that no disturbance or improper activity was reported from anywhere. The examinations were conducted in a peaceful and orderly manner.
