– Minister of State for Sports attended the Kashmiri Cultural Festival ‘Pumbuch’ organized in Gurugram as the chief guest

Gurugram : Haryana’s Minister of State for Sports, Gaurav Gautam said that Kashmir is the crown of our country. The contribution of Kashmiri people in the development of the country has a distinct identity. Referring to the struggle of Kashmiri Pandits, he said that how to contribute to the service of the country even in adverse circumstances. We should take inspiration from Kashmiri Pandits. Mr. Gautam was addressing as the chief guest in the Kashmiri Cultural Festival ‘Pumbuch’ organized at Joy Street in Sector 66, Gurugram on Sunday. This program was organized by the Pumbuch Cultural Heritage Foundation.

The Minister of State for Sports, while addressing the program, said that we are fortunate that we were born in such an era. In which we have got the most powerful leader in the world in the form of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Who brought Gurugram and Kashmir on one platform by removing Section 370. Today Kashmir is touching new heights of its progress. He said that today new paths of progress are opening up in Kashmir. After the removal of Section 370, today big industrial institutions are promoting investment there. After the construction of new tunnels, the traffic system is also becoming smooth.

The Sports Minister said that he is confident that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, terrorism will be rooted out from Kashmir and the lost respect of Kashmiri Pandits will be restored to them. The Minister of State for Sports also released the book Shivsutra and Spandakarika and Shiv Yogini Leleswari by writer Yogeshwari Bhatt in the program.

With a view to highlight the vibrant traditions and artistic expressions that define Kashmiri culture, captivating dance performances by the dancers of Jagti Camp of Jammu, Chakri artists of Srinagar and soulful singing performances by artists from Jammu, Delhi NCR were given in the festival.

On this occasion Yoginder Tiku, Rahul Wali, Rohit Bhatt, Preeti Sapru, Gopi Sapru, Founder Director of Pumbucha Foundation Suparna Sapru and other dignitaries were present.
