Hindu Organizations visit homes of Kar Sevaks, Honor them for Paving Way to Shri Ram Temple construction

Gurugram, 10 January : In a heartfelt tribute to the unsung heroes of the movement for the construction of the Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya, several Hindu and social organizations visited the homes of Kar Sevaks in Gurugram on Wednesday. The event was organized by the Gurugram district team of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bajrang Dal, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, and other social organizations to recognize and honor the sacrifices made by the Kar Sevaks in the early 1990s.

The dignitaries, including representatives from the aforementioned organizations, visited the homes of Kar Sevaks and felicitated them for their dedication to the cause. The Kar Sevaks and their families shared harrowing experiences and memories of the temporary jails and detentions they endured during the movement.

As a token of appreciation, the Kar Sevaks were presented with special robes inscribed with Ram’s name, along with materials such as worshiped Akshat from Ayodhya, a live picture of the temple under construction, five lamps, and a leaflet. The organizers also expressed their gratitude by saluting the Kar Sevaks, referring to them as akin to an army that played a crucial role in paving the way for the construction of the Ram temple.

Renowned educationist and former Vice Chancellor Dr. Ashok Diwakar emphasized that the construction of the Ram Temple stands on the foundation of the immense efforts of the Kar Sevaks. Despite facing adverse circumstances, the path for the temple’s construction has been paved today due to their relentless efforts.

Mahanagar Sangh Chalak Jagdish Grover highlighted the unwavering faith of the Kar Sevaks and their passion to sacrifice everything for the construction of the temple. He credited their dedication for turning the dream of building the temple into a reality, not just in India but worldwide.

Gurugram Vibhag Prachar Pramukh Anil Kashyap said that many Kar Sevaks were unjustly kept in temporary jails in Moradabad and Ghaziabad for over a fortnight without any valid reason. The families of those who were no longer present among them were specially honored during the event.

The families of Kar Sevaks, including Master Ratiram, Gopichand Gehlot (former Deputy Speaker), Sarpanch Subhash Tyagi, Brahmdutt Vashishtha, Rishi Tyagi, Binesh Tyagi, TC Mittal, Sarpanch Subhash Mittal, Prempal Saluja, Raj Nirbhik, Ajay Singhal, and late Devendra Vashishtha, late Sunil Vashishtha, late Kanwarbhan Bajaj, and late Raman Rohila, were recognized and honored.

Remarkably, most of the Kar Sevaks are now above 60 years of age, with their third generation carrying on their legacy. The visiting team expressed deep appreciation for the efforts of the Kar Sevaks and their families, acknowledging the emotional journey they had undertaken.

On this occasion, RSS’s Prant Sah-Sewa Pramukh Harish ji, Vishwa Hindu Parishad district president Ajit ji, Mantri Yashwant Shekhawat ji, president Surendra Tanwar, Sampark Pramukh Gagan ji and Sah-bhag Karyawaha Ram Bhardwaj were also present.
