India and Nepal Review Bilateral Cooperation, Reaffirm Commitment to Strengthen Strategic Partnership

New Delhi/Kathmandu : Munu Mahawar, Additional Secretary in India’s Ministry of External Affairs, called on Nepal’s Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai at Nepal’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where the two sides reviewed the progress of bilateral cooperation and discussed ways to further strengthen the longstanding partnership between the neighbouring countries.

According to Nepal’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting focused on assessing ongoing collaborative initiatives and advancing the shared agenda across priority sectors of mutual interest. The officials exchanged views on enhancing cooperation in areas that contribute to the overall growth of India-Nepal relations.

Reaffirming the enduring friendship and multifaceted partnership between the two nations, both sides also discussed measures to deepen institutional collaboration and sustain the momentum of high-level engagements that have strengthened bilateral ties in recent years.

The interaction reflected the continued commitment of India and Nepal to expanding cooperation across diverse sectors while reinforcing their close diplomatic, economic and people-to-people relationship.
