Gurugram : Asia’s leading Document Management Company has tied up with leading tel-cos in India including Idea Cellular, Vodafone and Tata to launch its e-commerce platform 10digi for free door-step delivery of SIM cards and data cards, with e-KYC activation, among other services.
A SIM connection is integral to our existence in today’s technology-driven society in which 10 digits define our digital identity; yet getting these 10 digits has never been easy. This instigated the promoters of 10digi to start a real-time online-to-offline service. The website and the mobile apps, available for Android and iOS, will be a one-stop destination for services like pre-paid and post-paid connections, data cards, recharge, bill plan comparison, and even mobile number portability.
Platform details- The single descriptive mobile plan platform will aim to accelerate delivery and activation of SIMs. This will enable customers to get their SIMs activated within 1-4 hours whereas currently the process usually takes 8-48 hours. Based on an aggregator model, the e-commerce platform has come up with the concept of ‘Mobile Retailers’, MRs. Once you request for a connection, the nearest MR will be at your doorstep at the desired time to collect the required documents and deliver SIMs and other products. 10digi ensures instant SIM activation for e-KYC subscribers. For paper-KYC subscribers, SIM is activated within 4 hours for prepaid connections, and within 8 hours for postpaid ones. 10digi will also facilitate services like photocopies of identity/address proof and photograph, required for the connections, at your residence for a nominal charge.
